Job summary

CFA Institute is seeking an Analyst/Senior Analyst for its investment team. The role reports to the VP and involves supporting private equity direct investments, co-investments, fund investments and fundraising across the Asia Pacific region. Interaction with lawyers and consultants on various portfolios is expected.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in PE/IB/M&A, strong financial modeling, and is a fast learner with a collaborative mindset. Mandarin or Bahasa proficiency is a plus.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualified; CFA preferred.
• At least 1–2 years PE / Investment Banking / M&A experience.
• Strong financial modeling skills (DCFs, etc); willing to learn and a fast learner.
• Collaborative and a team player; keen to build a career in PE; willing to put in the hours.
• Fluency in Mandarin or Bahasa would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support private equity direct / co-investment, fund investment and fund-raising activities in the Asia Pacific region.
• Liaise with lawyers, consultants and other external parties on assigned portfolios.
