Job summary

Boon Siew Singapore Pte Ltd invites applications for a PDI Technician to ensure every motorcycle meets Honda's standards before delivery. You will perform thorough inspections, verify mechanical, electrical and cosmetic quality, and prepare bikes for readiness on the showroom floor.

Based in Singapore, you will work with workshop and sales teams, maintain accurate inspection records, and safety-consciously handle motorcycles throughout the PDI process, contributing to a smooth, reliable customer

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years in motorcycle/automotive servicing, repair, inspection, or related workshop operations.
• Possess a valid Class 2B motorcycle licence.
• Basic knowledge of motorcycle mechanical systems.
• Able to use basic workshop tools safely.
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Responsible, safety-conscious and able to work as part of a team.
• Comfortable with standing and handling motorcycles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on new Honda motorcycles according to company and manufacturer requirements.
• Check motorcycles for mechanical, electrical, functional and cosmetic defects.
• Perform basic checks on tyres, fluids, battery, chain, brakes, lights, switches and other key components.
• Install batteries, number plates, accessories and other required components according to work instructions.
• Support OBU-related installation and preparation activities where required.
• Carry out basic adjustments and minor rectification works, and report issues requiring further repair or technical attention.
• Wash and prepare motorcycles to ensure they are in good condition before delivery.
• Complete PDI checklists and maintain accurate inspection records.
• Ensure motorcycles are handled safely and kept in good condition.
• Work closely with the Workshop and Sales teams to ensure motorcycles are ready according to the required delivery timeline.
• Maintain good housekeeping and follow workplace safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in motorcycle/automotive servicing, repair, inspection, PDI or related workshop operations.

• Relevant motorcycle workshop experience will be an advantage.

• Possess a valid Class 2B motorcycle licence.

• Basic knowledge of motorcycle mechanical systems.

• Able to use basic workshop tools and equipment safely.

• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn.

• Responsible, safety-conscious and able to work as part of a team.

• Comfortable with standing and handling motorcycles.
