Job summary

Boon Siew Singapore Pte Ltd, the hub of Honda motorcycles in Singapore, seeks capable technicians to perform advanced mechanical and electrical diagnostics, repairs, and servicing at the Ubi Road workshop. You will join a team dedicated to high-quality customer service and safety standards in a dynamic motor industry environment.

With a minimum Diploma/NITEC in related fields and 2+ years in diagnostic roles, you will collaborate with Service Advisors and mentor peers, while contributing to

Qualifications

• Diploma / Higher NITEC / NITEC in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar diagnostic or advanced technician role.
• Possess valid Singapore Class 2 or Malaysian Class B license; willing to convert to Singapore Class 2 license if needed.
• OEM or industry technician certification in Automotive/Heavy Machinery/Diesel/Marine/Motorcycle advantageous.
• Team player with good discipline, positive attitude and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and major repairs on vehicles.
• Support daily workshop activities, ensuring high efficiency and resolving challenging technical cases.
• Mentor and coach fellow technicians to elevate the workshop’s overall diagnostic and technical capabilities.
• Conduct test rides and post-repair QC inspections to guarantee vehicle safety, performance, and job quality.
• Work closely with Service Advisors.
• Undertake any additional workshop projects or operational duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Higher NITEC / NITEC / SKM Level II/III in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar diagnostic or advanced technician role.

• Possess a valid Singapore Class 2 or Malaysian Class B license; Malaysian license holders must be willing to convert to a Singapore Class 2 license.

• Preferably possess OEM or industry technician certification within the Automotive, Heavy Machinery/Diesel, Marine, or Motorcycle/Powersports industries is highly advantageous.

• Team player with good discipline and positive attitude.

• Strong expertise in mechanical and electrical servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

• A strong passion for motorcycles and a commitment to high-quality customer service.
