Job summary

Boon Siew Singapore Private Limited is seeking a skilled motorcycle technician to perform complex mechanical and electrical repairs and diagnostics in our Singapore workshop. You will support daily activities, ensure efficient operations, and mentor junior technicians to enhance overall capability.

The role requires a Diploma or equivalent in Automotive engineering, at least 2 years of diagnostic experience, and a valid Class 2 license.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Higher NITEC / NITEC / SKM Level II/III in Automotive or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in a diagnostic or advanced technician role.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 2 or Malaysian Class B license; willing to convert to Singapore Class 2.
• OEM or industry technician certification is advantageous.
• Team player with good discipline and positive attitude.
• Strong mechanical and electrical servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and major repairs on vehicles.
• Support daily workshop activities, ensuring high efficiency and resolving challenging technical cases.
• Mentor and coach technicians to elevate diagnostic and technical capabilities.
• Conduct test rides and post-repair QC inspections for safety and performance.
• Work closely with Service Advisors.
• Undertake additional workshop projects or operational duties as assigned by management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform complex mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and major repairs on vehicles.
• Support daily workshop activities, ensuring high efficiency and resolving challenging technical cases.
• Mentor and coach fellow technicians to elevate the workshop’s overall diagnostic and technical capabilities.
• Conduct test rides and post-repair QC inspections to guarantee vehicle safety, performance, and job quality.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma / Higher NITEC / NITEC / SKM Level II/III in Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering, or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar diagnostic or advanced technician role.
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 2 or Malaysian Class B license; Malaysian license holders must be willing to convert to a Singapore Class 2 license.
• Preferably possess OEM or industry technician certification within the Automotive, Heavy Machinery/Diesel, Marine, or Motorcycle/Powersports industries is highly advantageous.
• Team player with good discipline and positive attitude.
• Strong expertise in mechanical and electrical servicing, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• A strong passion for motorcycles and a commitment to high-quality customer service.
