Job summary

Lion City Rentals Pte Ltd is hiring an operative to conduct visual inspections of vehicles, prepare condition reports, and coordinate servicing and movement across locations.

The role requires basic automotive knowledge, proficiency with Excel/Word, and strong organisational and communication skills. A valid Singapore driving licence is required, and hands-on vehicle prep duties may be needed.

Qualifications

• Basic automotive knowledge; Nitec is an added advantage.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to identify visible vehicle defects and issues.
• Experience in automotive preparation or related fields is a plus.
• Ability to coordinate with workshop technicians and vendors.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of vehicles and prepare reports.
• Coordinate servicing, repairs, detailing, and refurbishment.
• Arrange vehicle movement between locations and track status.
• Update vehicle readiness and outstanding items in the system.
• Maintain accurate PDI checklists and preparation records.
• Collaborate with workshop and external vendors effectively.

Job description

Job Description:

• Conduct visual inspections of newly delivered, used, and COE-renewed vehicles
• Prepare vehicle condition reports and submit identified issues to the internal workshop team or relevant department
• Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, detailing, and refurbishment according to operational priorities
• Arrange vehicle movement between the car hangers, workshop, detailing centre, inspection centre, and other authorised locations
• Update vehicle status, location, readiness, and outstanding items in the company's system
• Maintain accurate PDI checklists, vehicle condition reports, and preparation records

Job Requirements:

• Basic automotive and vehicle technical knowledge, Nitec will be an added advantage
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and data entry
• Able to identify visible vehicle defects, body damage, missing accessories, and technical issues
• Automotive, vehicle preparation, car rental, or used-car industry experience is and advantage
• Able to coordinate effectively with workshop technicians and external vendors
• Good organisational, communication, and follow-up skills
• Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple vehicles and deadlines
• Possess a valid Singapore Class 3 or 3A driving licence
• Willing to perform hands-on vehicle preparation and vehicle movement as required
