Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum a diploma in Accounting or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in similar capacity.
• Experience in hospitality industry would be preferred.
• Rigorous commitment to accuracy and detail.
• Able to work in high volume environment with strict timelines.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Good analytical skills.
• Able to work efficiently with highly digitalised environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, HR systems, online banking and relevant government agencies’ online portals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end payroll process and analyse payroll, overtime, headcount, productivity and labour cost trends, with recommendations to leadership.
• Ensure payroll activities are accurate and on time, with accounts reconciled.
• Process monthly payroll, overtime and casual labour payments.
• Prepare payroll and overtime accrual journals.
• Maintain payroll balance sheet schedules.
• Respond to team member payroll enquiries promptly.
• Monitor working hours against contracted hours and review variances.
• Prepare CPF contributions, deductions and IR8A filings.
• Ensure compliance to regulatory and internal controls.
• Attend audits and tax enquiries pertaining to payroll matters.
• Monitor cash float and prepare daily cash reconciliation reports.
• Coordinate cash collection with CISCO for bank purposes.
• Manage adhoc cash payments and cheque collections.
• Perform any additional tasks to ensure department functions smoothly.
