Job summary

PEOPLEBANK SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. in Singapore East Region is seeking a Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll processing for a high-volume workforce.

You will handle monthly payroll, overtime, leave claims, CPF and tax submissions, and provide timely payslips while collaborating with Finance and HR.

The role requires a Diploma in Business/HR and strong Excel skills, with attention to detail and good communication.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business/HR or equivalent.
• Experience in high-volume payroll in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Excel with Pivot Table and VLOOKUP.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll, including overtime, allowances, no-pay leave, and claims.
• Submit NS makeup pay, maternity and childcare leave claims.
• Prepare overpayment recovery letters for resigned staff.
• Prepare monthly payroll journals, reports, accruals and cost charging to Finance.
• Prepare and send electronic payslips.
• Handle tax clearance submissions, CPF submissions, and annual income tax submissions.
• Support HR/Payroll projects and respond to team payroll enquiries.

The Role

Supporting the Payroll Manager, you will handle the full spectrum of payroll function and ensure accurate and timely administration of pay.

• Process monthly payroll including overtime, allowance, no-pay leave, claims, statutory and other employee payments
• Submit NS make-up pay, maternity and childcare leave claims
• Prepare overpayment recovery letters to resigned staff to claim overpayment due to resignation
• Prepare monthly payroll journals, reports, accruals & cost charging to Finance
• Prepare and send out electronic payslips
• Handle tax clearance submission, monthly CPF submission & annual income tax submission
• Participate and support HR/Payroll Projects
• Handle team member enquiries on payroll matters

• Diploma in Business/HR or equivalent
• Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment & high-volume headcounts
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Table/VLOOKUP)
