Job summary

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) seeks a seasoned leader to drive the technical delivery of its real-time payments platforms and RTGS initiatives. You will oversee end-to-end program delivery, governance, and cross-functional collaboration with business, product, and vendor teams.

The role requires extensive experience in large-scale banking transformations, people leadership, and the ability to guide multiple squads toward high performance and value creation for customers.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technical and delivery experience in banking or related sectors.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to transform traditional development organisations into high performance squads.
• Ability to mentor and grow tribe leads into high performing teams.
• Experience leading large teams of 100+ developers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the payments platforms implementation under a major transformation program.
• Oversee delivery governance, design, testing, timeline and budget for the new payments platform.
• Build strong partnerships with business, product and vendor teams.
• Drive strategies, roadmaps and implementation of the payments portfolio.
• Empower and develop team capabilities, manage resources and vendor relationships.
