Job summary

NHG Health in Singapore is seeking a Temporary Patient Service Associate for a 6‑month contract to support patient services in doctors’ consultations, registration, billing and appointment management, and to keep patient records PDPA‑compliant.

You will help with clinic readiness, room preparation, chaperoning, language support, EMR data entry and billing inquiries, while working closely with hospital departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: GCE “N” Level, ITE NITEC, ITE Higher Nitec, or Diploma
• Demonstrates a positive attitude, initiative, and willingness to learn
• Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Relevant healthcare or clinic experience will be an advantage

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring clinic readiness to receive patients
• Chaperone doctors and provide language translation during consultation
• Prepare and assist doctor for physical examination, minor procedures, or surgical procedures relevant to patient care
• Perform basic patient care services such as taking height and weight, vital signs, and record in EMR
• Schedule patients for surgery and endoscopy procedures
• Attend to patient and staff enquiries on clinic services, appointments, and billing matters
• Support accurate billing of clinic services by ensuring required information is entered correctly and promptly
