Job summary

Singapore National Eye Centre seeks a Patient Services Associate in Service Operations to deliver administrative and clinical services that enhance patient experience and streamline the care journey.

You will manage registration, appointment scheduling, billing and payments, provide information on services, assist during eye examinations, and coordinate pre-operative assessments and counselling while maintaining accurate records.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in customer service or frontline healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing and payment collection.
• Explain payment schemes and charges to patients.
• Provide information on the various clinical services offered by the Centre and attend to inquiries from patients and the public.
• Perform counter-closing tasks at end of business day.
• Assist patients during eye examinations and provide basic eye care guidance.
• Prepare clinic documents and conduct daily equipment/instrument inventory checks.
• Schedule pre-operative assessments and surgeries appointments; provide financial counselling.
• Attend to and facilitate patient enquiries/requests.
• Assist in generation of clinic reports and contribute to process improvements.
