Job summary

JurongHealth Campus is seeking a Patient Service Associate to deliver exceptional patient service in the Emergency Medicine Department. You will handle front-desk enquiries, register patients, process payments, and coordinate with Bed Management and SOC appointments to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires good communication, a patient-centric attitude, and willingness to work rotating shifts, including overnights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE N Levels with 1 year of working experience in customer service.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to work with all levels of staff.
• Willing to work morning, afternoon and overnight shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Register patients via phone and upfront enquiries.
• Collect payment/deposits and provide Financial Counselling for admissions and discharges.
• Liaise closely with Bed Management Unit for acquisition of beds for Emergency Medicine Department's (EMD) patients.
• Obtain SOC appointments for Emergency Medicine Department's patients.
• Sort documents in preparation for dispatch to Medical Records Office (MRO).
• Extend excellent customer service to patients and their relatives.
• Replenish inventory when stock is low.
