Job summary

National University Hospital is seeking a vigilant Security Officer to perform daily deployment duties at multiple duty points and assist in front-lobby vehicle management. The role requires proactive patient/visitor support, crowd control readiness, and strict adherence to access controls and incident response protocols.

You will greet patients and visitors, coordinate taxi calls and porter services, and participate in CCTV monitoring and 2nd-in-charge operations when required.

Qualifications

• Minimum PSLE or above is required.
• At least 2 years of security officer experience is preferred.
• Good team player and customer oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily deployment duties at various duty points.
• Smile and greet all incoming and exiting patients/visitors.
• Assist to open/close arriving/departing vehicles at the front lobby.
• Provide proactive assistance to arriving/departing patients/visitors (wheelchair, trolley).
• Coordinate taxi calls, wheelchair/portering as needed.
• Ensure smooth vehicle flow in carparks and taxi queue management.
• Assist in car park management operations and access control tasks.
• Oversee pass issuance, key and card access control, and contractor management.
• Conduct CCTV review and recording as required.
• Handle incident management (fire, emergencies, etc).
• Attend to Code Black triggers (violent patients, crowd control, etc).
• Foot patrols both internal and external.
• 2nd in charge duties supporting senior officers in deployment and management.
• Render security support for ad-hoc situations including VIP visits and emergencies.
• Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor.
