Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Pastry Chef for the Central Kitchen located in Bedok. Working days are 4 days off per month with hours from 7:30am to 4:30pm, plus Saturday 7:30am-12:30pm.

Salary ranges from SGD 2,300 to SGD 3,000 and includes a 30min to 1 hour rest. Responsible for pastry production, quality control and ensuring timely output. Candidate should have pastry/bakery experience, preferably in central kitchens or high-volume settings, and knowledge of pastry techniques

Qualifications

• Experience in pastry production, bakery or a related role.
• Experience working in a central kitchen, commercial bakery or high-volume food production environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of pastry-making techniques, baking methods and food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts and baked products according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Handle the full pastry production process, including preparation, mixing, baking, decorating and finishing.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture and portion sizes across all products.
• Follow daily production schedules and ensure products are prepared and ready within the required timelines.
• Prepare and measure ingredients accurately according to recipes and production requirements.
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and inform the supervisor of any shortages or wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry production area, equipment and utensils.
• Ensure proper food handling, hygiene and food safety practices are followed at all times.
• Assist in developing or improving pastry products, recipes and production processes where required.
• Perform quality checks on finished products and ensure they meet the required standards.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
