Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte Ltd in Bedok is seeking an experienced pastry production professional for a full-time on-site role. You will prepare and produce pastries, manage the full production cycle from preparation to finishing, and ensure consistency in taste, texture, appearance, and portions according to recipes and quality standards.

Candidates should have pastry or bakery experience, prior work in large-scale production or central kitchens, and knowledge of pastry techniques, baking

Qualifications

• Experience in pastry production, bakery or a related role.
• Experience working in a central kitchen, commercial bakery or high-volume food production environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of pastry-making techniques, baking methods and food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce a variety of pastries, cakes, desserts and baked products according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Handle the full pastry production process, including preparation, mixing, baking, decorating and finishing.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, appearance and portion sizes across all products.
• Follow daily production schedules and ensure products are prepared and ready within the required timelines.
• Prepare and measure ingredients accurately according to recipes and production requirements.
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and inform the supervisor of any shortages or wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pastry production area, equipment and utensils.
• Ensure proper food handling, hygiene and food safety practices are followed at all times.
• Assist in developing or improving pastry products, recipes and production processes where required.
• Perform quality checks on finished products and ensure they meet the required standards.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
