Job summary

Performance Motors Limited, part of Sime Group in Singapore, is seeking a Parts Admin and Inventory Assistant to support parts ordering, inventory administration and invoice processing. You will help maintain accurate stock records, assist with supplier payments and day-to-day operations.

The role requires detail-oriented coordination, ability to meet deadlines, and familiarity with Excel and inventory systems. Prior automotive or logistics experience is a plus; O-Level or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• GCE O-Level qualification or equivalent.
• 1 year+ experience in logistics documents; automotive experience a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document processing.
• Able to prioritise tasks and meet operational deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Process parts orders, goods receipting and inventory transactions accurately within established timelines.
• Verify purchase orders, supplier invoices, packing lists and delivery documents, investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Monitor backorders and outstanding deliveries, liaising with suppliers to provide timely updates to operations teams.
• Prepare daily ordering and receipting reports, maintain digital records and ensure supporting documents are properly filed.
• Submit supplier invoices and documentation to Finance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with payment requirements.
• Coordinate with warehouse, operations, suppliers and Finance to resolve pricing, quantity, stock and delivery variances.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through monthly cycle counts, stock reconciliations and support for periodic stocktakes.
• Support urgent local purchases, supplier sourcing, parts master creation and inventory record maintenance.
• Administer related operational activities including claims processing, stock adjustments and departmental documentation.
• Manage multiple recurring workflows while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance and service delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum GCE O-Level qualification or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience handling logistic documents (Prior automotive experience Will be a plus)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Microsoft Office) and computer-based inventory systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in document processing.
• Able to prioritise tasks and meet operational deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and communication skills in coordinating with stakeholders.
