Job description

Temus is a digital transformation company established by Temasek, helping enterprises and public sector agencies across Singapore and beyond bring together strategy, design, data, AI, and cloud. We partner with leading technology and service providers.

About the Role

The Partnership Manager operates Temus’ partnership portfolio with commercial discipline. The role is the single operational point of coordination for partner qualification, activation, records, cadence, programme requirements, funding and claims. It converts validated partner access, referrals, co-funding and capability support into opportunities accepted by named commercial owners and tracks those opportunities through to Finance-validated outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Run the operating cadence for approved priority technology and institutional partners; maintain the partner register.
  • Translate approved portfolio priorities into qualification and activation plans. Assess proposed and existing partners against agreed criteria including strategic fit, buyer access, counterpart commitment, delivery readiness, economics, differentiation and evidence.
  • Prepare evidence-based recommendations to activate, remediate, downgrade or exit a relationship; implement the decision once approved and record the rationale.

Opportunity activation, handoff and attribution

  • Coordinate approved co-selling motions, joint propositions, account mapping, seller-to-seller pairings, deal registration, partner campaigns and follow-up actions with named Commercial, Capability and partner owners.
  • For every partner-sourced or partner-influenced opportunity, record the source, the partner’s specific contribution, the target buyer, the named Temus commercial owner, the next buyer action and the acceptance, redirection or rejection decision.
  • Maintain / escalate stage gates and exit criteria from partner activation through commercial handoff.
  • Prepare opportunity attribution and partner-economics records for Finance validation. Track progression, realised revenue, gross profit and margin after validation without displacing the accountable commercial owner.

MOU and co-innovation programme execution

  • Convert approved MOUs and co-innovation arrangements into implementation plans with named owners, milestones, dependencies, governance dates, target outcomes, and escalation points.
  • Maintain working-level relationships and programme cadence with partner counterparts, and support executive sponsors in priority engagements. Track whether each arrangement produces qualified access, referrals, co-funding, capability support, programmes or accepted commercial opportunities.

Funding, incentives and grant operations

  • Identify eligible partner incentives, market-development funds, co-funding and relevant government grant routes for ready client, capability or workforce propositions. Coordinate internal approvals, applications, evidence, submissions, queries, claims and reconciliation through to realised value.
  • Maintain / escalate an auditable funding and claims log covering eligibility, deadlines, accountable owners, evidence completeness, approval status, expected value, realised value and rejection reasons.

Tier, competency and programme administration

  • Execute approved partner-tier and competency plans by mapping programme requirements, certifications, references, revenue evidence, deadlines and accountable owners; coordinate submissions and close evidence gaps.
  • Maintain an accurate record of tier status, benefits, renewal conditions and utilisation. Report whether progression is producing usable funding, market access, capability or customer credibility.

Controls, reporting and portfolio hygiene

  • Own the integrity of the partner register, opportunity and attribution register, counterpart map, tier and competency tracker, MOU milestone tracker, subcontractor onboarding tracker, and funding and claims log.
  • Produce a concise regular / ie. monthly performance view covering accepted partner pipeline, progression, Finance-validated outcomes, funding realised, tier milestones, overdue actions, risks, decisions required and inactive relationships.
  • Keep partner and opportunity records current in the designated CRM and operating systems.

Requirements

  • Experience in partnerships, alliances, or channel/business development ideally in IT services, consulting, or enterprise technology
  • Familiarity with hyperscalers and data/AI partner programs, and how their deal registration, incentives, and competency tiers work
  • A track record of turning partnerships into measurable pipeline and closed revenue not just relationships
  • Strong program and stakeholder management across internal teams and external partner leadership
  • Diligence with multi-step processes like incentive claims, registrations, and competency applications

Familiarity with government grant mechanisms (Singapore context advantageous)
