The School of Art, Design, and Media at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore invites qualified candidates to apply as Part-time Lecturer for DM3010 Project Development and Planning. The Part-time Lecturer is expected to teach an undergraduate course commencing in January of 2027.

DM3010 is a studio course focusing on development and planning of the Final Year Thesis project for third-year students, including field trips, lectures, and guest speakers to illuminate project conceptualization

Qualifications

• Master's and/or Ph.D. in Fine Art, Design, Media Arts, Curatorial Practice, Design Research, or related field.
• Experience teaching at undergraduate level is preferred.
• Experience supervising practice-based research or theses.
• Candidates with Bachelor's degree plus substantial professional experience may be considered in exceptional cases.

Responsibilities

• Teach DM3010 Project Development and Planning to undergraduates.
• Guide students through Final Year Thesis preparation and proposal development.
• Incorporate field trips, lectures, and guest speakers into course delivery.
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback.
