Job summary

NTU Singapore invites qualified candidates to apply as Part-time Lecturer for DM3010 Project Development and Planning. The lecturer will teach an undergraduate course commencing January 2027, focusing on developing and planning Final Year Thesis projects for third-year students.

Candidates should hold a Master’s and/or Ph.D. in a related field; undergraduate teaching and supervision of practice-based research or theses are preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s and/or Ph.D. in Fine Art, Design, Media Arts, Curatorial Practice, Design Research, or a related field.
• Prior undergraduate teaching experience and supervising practice-based research or thesis projects preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines with substantial professional experience in exhibition, project development or creative practice may be considered in exceptional cases.

Responsibilities

• Teach DM3010 Project Development and Planning as a Part-time Lecturer.
• Course commences in January 2027 for undergraduate students.
• Guide third-year students in developing and planning their Final Year Project (FYP) and its working proposal.
• Incorporate field trips, lectures and guest speakers to support project conceptualization and planning.
