Job summary

Perdure Technology Pte Ltd is seeking a responsible and hands-on Part-Time IT Support Technician to assist customers with day-to-day IT hardware, software and onsite issues. You will provide onsite and remote support, troubleshoot PCs, printers, POS and network connections.

This role welcomes ITE/Polytechnic students, fresh graduates, semi-retired IT personnel and others seeking flexible hours. Training will be provided; travel to customer locations within Singapore is required on occasion.

Qualifications

• Basic hands-on experience in troubleshooting Windows PCs and common hardware/software issues.
• Able to follow troubleshooting procedures and work independently after training.
• Willing to travel to customer locations within Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote IT technical support to customers.
• Troubleshoot desktop PCs, laptops, printers, network connections and other IT equipment.
• Support POS systems, kiosks, receipt printers and related peripherals.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting, including LAN, Wi-Fi, IP configuration and connectivity issues.
• Install, configure and replace IT hardware and software when required.
• Assist with Windows setup, software installation, updates and basic system maintenance.
• Attend customer sites for troubleshooting, equipment replacement and other support work.
• Provide clear updates on work performed and problems encountered.
• Escalate more complex technical issues to senior technical staff when necessary.
• Maintain a professional and service-oriented attitude when dealing with customers.

Requirements

• Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Basic hands-on experience in troubleshooting Windows PCs and common computer hardware/software issues.
• Basic understanding of computer setup, software installation and simple connectivity issues.
• Training will be provided for POS systems, printers, networking and our customer support procedures.
• Able to follow troubleshooting procedures and work independently after training.
• Willing to travel to customer locations within Singapore when required.
• Responsible, punctual and able to communicate clearly with customers.
• ITE/Polytechnic students, fresh graduates, semi-retired IT personnel and candidates seeking regular part-time IT work are welcome to apply.

Flexible Working Arrangement

Flexible working hours are available. Applicants may indicate and choose their preferred or available working days and hours. Working schedules can be arranged based on the applicant's availability and our operational requirements. Suitable for candidates who are only available on certain weekdays, weekends or selected time periods. There is no requirement to be available full-time. Some assignments may require onsite support at customer premises. Work assignments will be arranged according to availability whenever possible. Training and guidance will be provided for our support procedures and customer environments.
