Job summary

Ordinary Folk is seeking an experienced, self-directed professional to own day-to-day finance operations across SG, HK, and JP. The role covers payroll, AP, banking, and HR admin, with a hands-on, ownership-focused approach.

You will ensure doctors and staff are paid accurately and on time, while catching discrepancies to protect revenue. Hybrid or remote work is available with some on-site presence for mail and banking tasks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on payroll experience for SG and HK (CPF, SDL, SHG, MPF).
• Experience with accounts payable, bank administration and employer tax filing.
• Familiarity with Xero is a plus.
• Working knowledge of SG/HK Employment rules is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Run monthly payroll in SG & HK and ensure timely processing.
• Approve payments and manage supplier invoices; reconcile bank statements.
• Verify consults and fee collection; check orders, refunds and subscriptions for errors.
• Assist in tax filings and grant applications where applicable.
• Maintain HR administration including contracts, leaves and Employment Passes.
