East Spring Secondary School is seeking a Part-time FCE Assistant cum Kitchen Aide to support FCE lessons and maintain kitchen operations. The position runs Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 12:30pm, with no work on weekends or public holidays.

You will assist teachers, manage inventories, handle ingredient orders, and ensure hygiene standards. Beneficial candidates hold a SkillsFuture Singapore Food Safety Level 1 certificate and demonstrate good communication, teamwork, and initiative.

Qualificações

• Statement/Certificate of Attainment from SkillsFuture Singapore for Food Safety Course Level 1, or equivalent.
• Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills, with initiative.
• Relevant school experience is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Work with Food and Consumer Education teachers to prepare for FCE lessons.
• Maintain inventory and kitchen equipment, and process ingredient orders with food suppliers.
• Prepare and distribute food portions before practical lessons while observing food hygiene requirements.
• Clean kitchens after each lesson, including sweeping and mopping floors and checking used utensils.
• Conduct stocktakes of food and cleaning supplies.
• Assist at school events and perform other duties assigned by School Leaders or Heads of Department.
