Job summary

Greensafe International Pte Ltd is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support FCE classes in a school setting. You will assist with lesson preparation, maintain kitchen safety and hygiene, and help manage supplies and equipment.

You will also handle ingredient orders, portion meals for practical sessions, and assist during school events as needed. A proactive team player with good communication will thrive in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have Food Safety Course Level 1 certificate or equivalent.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; be a good team player with a high level of initiative.
• Having relevant experience in a school environment will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with FCE teachers to provide support in the preparation of FCE lessons.
• Handle simple administrative tasks (maintaining inventory, maintenance of kitchen equipment, processing food ingredients orders with suppliers).
• Prepare food portions for distribution before all practical lessons while ensuring hygiene is observed.
• Clean the kitchen (sweeping/mopping floors, checking utensils) at the end of each lesson.
• Perform stock-taking of all food and cleaning supplies.
• Assist in school events when necessary.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
