Job summary

LOTTE Travel Retail Singapore is seeking a cashier to join our team at Changi Airport. You will process all sales, handle cash and various payments using the POS system, and ensure accuracy in daily reconciliations.

You will engage customers, maintain appearance, and act as a front-line ambassador for the brand. The role requires professionalism, a positive attitude, and the ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum education qualification: GCE 'N' or 'O' Level.
• At least 1 year of cashiering experience.
• A professional appearance.
• Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to read, write English.
• The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• The ability to work rotating shifts duties in Changi Airport environment.
• Must be able to commit 5 days a week including weekend & Public Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Process all sales transactions and handle cash, credit and all other forms of payments accurately and efficiently using POS (Point-Of-Sales) System
• Responsible for cash collections, withdrawals and reconciliation of all transactions at the end of each shift
• Maintain adequate stock levels of inventory such as receipt rolls and STEB bags
• Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and safety of work environment
• Stay informed and adhere to duty-free allowances, age restrictions, and other relevant regulations
• Engage with customers to encourage additional purchases to drive sales
• Be the company’s front-line ambassador to uphold company’s branding and image
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
