Job summary

Plain Vanilla Bakery in Singapore invites a part-time pastry assistant to join our small team. You will work on pastries and bread in a friendly, hands-on environment at the Pandan Loop location.

Hours are 9am–5pm with Mondays off, totaling about 18.5 hours per week (2–3 days). A certificate in Pastry & Bakery is preferred but not strictly required.

Qualifications

• Interest in pastry & bread; certificate preferred but not required.
• Good work ethics, initiative and willingness to learn.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to work a minimum of 18.5 hours per week (2-3 days per week).

Plain Vanilla Bakery it started out with a simple, earnest ambition to create and share some good old-fashioned cake with our local community; cake that was made with real wholesome ingredients, and was familiar and comforting. In a world of mass-produced confections, we wanted to go back to basics and bake like our mums and grandmothers used to - moist red velvet cupcakes topped with vanilla buttercream, apple pound cake drizzled with caramel, decadent chocolate brownies, warm and fudgey on the inside. The kind of scents, flavours, and textures that make us nostalgic for days gone by.
