Job summary

Luxe Noms Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Baking/Pastry Assistant to join our mantou bun bakery in the Kovan area. The role involves assisting in dough preparation, operating bakery equipment, and maintaining cleanliness in line with Halal practices.

The ideal candidate is passionate, reliable, and eager to learn in a supportive team. Full-time and part-time positions available, with hours from 10:00am to 7:00pm and a 5- to 6-day week for full-time. Halal compliance knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Food Safety Level 1 certification required.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• F&B experience preferred but not required.
• Halal compliance knowledge is advantageous.
• Willingness to stand for long hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and creation of mantou buns.
• Operate baking equipment and ensure machinery is functioning.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene per Halal practices.
• Clean and sanitize the workplace daily.
• Prepare ingredients and monitor stock for restocking.
• Follow recipes and instructions from head baker.
• Assist with packaging and display of baked goods.
• Attend to walk-in customers as needed.

Assistant Artisan Baker/ Creative Mantou Artisan

We are a Halal-certified (certification in progress) mantou bun bakery based in Singapore, and we’re looking for a passionate and reliable Baking/Pastry Assistant to join our growing team!

Job Scope:

• Assist in the preparation and creation of mantou buns

• Operate baking equipment and ensure machinery is functioning properly

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with Halal practices

• Clean and sanitize the workplace daily

• Prepare ingredients and monitor inventory for restocking

• Follow recipes and instructions from the head baker

• Assist with packaging and display of baked goods

• Attend to walk-in customers as needed
  

Requirements:

• Food Safety Course Level 1 certified

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience in the F&B industry is preferred but not required

• Staff with Halal compliance knowledge will have an advantage

• Must be able to stand for long hours

• Full-time: 5 or 6 day work week

• Part-time: Able to commit at least 2 days per week

• Working hours: 10:00am – 7:00pm

Remuneration & Benefits
