Overview

Adecco is partnering with a Japanese MNC, specializing in specialty chemical. We are looking for a Packaging Warehouse Supervisor to join the team!

The Opportunity

Permanent, Full-time opportunity

Location: West region, Jurong Island

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8am to 4.30pm

Salary Package: up to $5,500 basic + AWS + VB

The Role

Reporting to the Production Manager. The candidate will be responsible for operating and setting up of packing system, managing daily operations of the packaging warehouse including the operators, and managing external contractors ensuring zero defects and transported to customer.

The Job

• Determine and creating batch or lot numbers, quantity and type of packaging according to production schedule.
• Issue work assignments to contract personnel.
• Observe contract personnel as work is being performed.
• Investigate and resolve warehouse related to safety.
• Monitor and review environment compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in production scheduling and planning to maximize production.
• Analyze and assess all aspects of packaging operations such as quality, cost, material and make recommendations for improvement.
• Manage daily manpower requirement of ad-hoc workers.
• Manage inventory of EVAL products, packaging supplies, raw materials, and other consumables in EVAL Silo & Packaging building.
• Conduct GSAP posting for finishing product for Quality team to perform grading.

The Talent

• At least 10 years working experience in warehouse packaging.
• At least 3 years of warehouse packaging supervisory experience.
• Good knowledge and application of all safety rules required in warehouse packaging environment.
