Job summary

JAC Recruitment Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an Outlet Manager for a renowned Japanese brand entering the market. You will lead pre-opening activities, launch the outlet, and manage daily operations as part of the inaugural team.

You will train and oversee staff, drive sales and KPI targets, maintain service standards, manage inventory, and ensure safety and compliance while coordinating with HQ in Japan.

Qualifications

• Experience in outlet or store operations within the F&B, retail, or service industry.
• Management experience as an outlet manager, assistant manager, supervisor, or in a similar leadership role
• Experience in staff recruitment, training, coaching, and performance management
• Understanding of sales management and basic financial performance metrics
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering excellent service standards
• Basic Japanese communication skills to facilitate simple internal communication with the headquarters in Japan
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Responsibilities

• Lead the pre-opening activities and launch of the new outlet
• Manage and continuously improve all aspects of outlet operations
• Monitor and achieve sales, profitability, and operational KPI targets
• Train, develop, and manage both full-time and part-time staff, including roster planning
• Maintain and enhance customer service standards and product quality
• Oversee inventory control, ordering processes, and cost management
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally
• Coordinate with and report to headquarters and relevant internal stakeholders
• Contribute to the development of operational procedures and systems to support future multi-outlet expansion
