Job summary

Sandvik is seeking an Outbound Planner in Singapore to manage customer order flow and interface with Sales Area. You will release orders daily, review suspended items, coordinate with Inventory, Purchasing and Warehouse teams, and resolve issues to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires 3–5 years in logistics or customer service, strong ERP knowledge, and advanced MS Excel data analysis skills. This position is based in Singapore and offers a dynamic, global engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics Management or Bachelor in Logistics required.
• 3–5 years in supply chain or customer service environment preferred.
• Strong customer service background and ERP systems experience required.
• Proficient in MS Excel and data analysis; knowledge of System21/Aurora/Maximo is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily release and management of customer orders including auto, mass and manual releases.
• Review suspended orders and resolve allocation issues with inventory/purchasing/warehouse teams.
• Expedite orders and resolve order issues (addresses, shipping instructions, etc.).
• Weekly and daily maintenance of customer master data and open orders.
• Liaise with Sales Area to ensure smooth order progression.

Outbound Planner

The Outbound Planner will be responsible for the management of the customer order flow and the interface with Sales Area.

The role

Order processing

• Daily release of customer orders and include the management of auto, mass and manual release orders.
• Daily review of suspended orders.
• Execute the cancellation of orders based on customer requests, superseded items, etc..
• Working with Inventory, Purchasing or Warehouse teams to source items.
• Resolve order issues like incorrect addresses, shipping instructions, etc..

Aging management

• Resolve any allocation problems on a daily basis, specifically suspended orders or cycle count problems.
• Daily review and resolution of outstanding orders where source change has to be done, where it is linked to PO or DRP or where an order needs to be placed.
• Weekly review of "Hold till complete" orders, where inventory has become available or where new PO or DRP has to be created.

Logistics Process and Support (LPS).

• Review and resolve LPS tickets relating to expediting of orders, shipment discrepancy etc. on a daily basis.
• Review Unit Down Orders and expedite accordingly on a daily basis.

General

• Daily resolution of Sales orders that did not generate a Purchase Orders in System 21.

Quarterly review and maintenance of Customer. Masters:

• Weekly communication to internal/external customers regarding progress on all open orders.

Your Profile

• Diploma in Logistics Management / Bachelor in Logistics
• Prefer with work experience (3 to 5 years) in supply chain or customer service environment
• Strong Customer service background
• Strong Knowledge of Logistics Systems and Supply Chain understanding
• Good Knowledge of ERP systems and business management tools (System 21/ Aurora / Maximo, etc.)
• Competent in MS Excel.
• Ability to perform logical data analysis and problem solving.
