Job summary

Dr Natasha Lim Eye Centre in Singapore is hiring full-time Optometrists and Opticians for on-site roles at the Novena location. You will perform detailed eye examinations, refractions, assess visual acuity, and assist in pre- and post-operative evaluations for laser vision correction and cataract surgery, collaborating with doctors and staff.

The centre focuses on delivering high-quality, personalised eye care, covering procedures such as LASIK, LASEK, PRK, ICL, and bladeless femtosecond laser cataract surgery, as well as treatments for macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and glaucoma. Dr Lim's background includes consultant experience at Singapore National Eye Centre and advanced fellowship training at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. The clinic is recognised as a Centre of Excellence for presbyopia correction, with international publications, invited conference presentations, and pioneering work in LASIK outcomes. Role Description

We are hiring both Optometrists and opticians to work full time on-site at Dr Natasha Lim Eye Centre, providing comprehensive clinical support to the ophthalmologist and care team. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing detailed eye examinations, conducting refractions, assessing visual acuity, and assisting in pre- and post-operative evaluations for laser vision correction, cataract surgery and other eye disease patients. The role involves using diagnostic equipment (such as OCT, topography, biometry, and visual field analyzers), documenting clinical findings accurately, and educating patients on eye conditions, treatment options, and post-procedure care. You will collaborate closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic flow, high-quality patient experiences, and adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. Participation in continuous professional development, clinical audits, and refinement of practice procedures is expected.

Qualifications

Professional Optometry and Optician qualifications and OOB registration is essential.

Pre-registration candidates are welcomed and training will be provided. The clinic is a good ground to achieve your case reports.

We provide training in operating and interpreting results from diagnostic devices such as OCT, corneal topography, biometry, pachymetry, and visual field analyzers.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced specialist clinic, collaborating with other optometrists and opticians, 2 ophthalmologists, day surgery nurses, and administrative staff.
