Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a dedicated perioperative nurse to support ophthalmic surgeons in eye-related procedures in Singapore.

The role includes Scrub Nurse duties and ensuring precise documentation of nursing activities throughout perioperative care. You will coordinate patient transfers, escort and orientate patients during movements, and provide post-operative recovery care following established protocols.

Qualifications

• Provide perioperative nursing support to ophthalmic surgeons during eye-related procedures.
• Perform Scrub Nurse duties in line with clinical protocols and professional standards.
• Ensure accurate, complete and timely documentation of perioperative nursing activities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clinical and support units to facilitate safe patient transport and transfers.
• Escort, receive and orientate patients during transfers, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Provide post-operative recovery care and monitor patients per nursing protocols.
• Escalate concerns to appropriate healthcare professionals when required.
• Participate in the review and continuous improvement of nursing protocols and procedures.
• Perform other relevant nursing responsibilities as assigned by management.

• Perform Scrub Nurse responsibilities in accordance with applicable clinical protocols, procedures and professional standards.

• Ensure accurate, complete and timely documentation of perioperative nursing activities and patient care.

• Coordinate with relevant clinical and support units to facilitate safe and seamless patient transport and transfer.

• Escort, receive and orientate patients during transfers while providing appropriate support for their safety, comfort and continuity of care.

• Provide post-operative recovery care and monitor patients in accordance with established nursing protocols, escalating concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals where required.

• Participate in the review and continuous improvement of nursing protocols, policies and procedures.

• Perform other relevant nursing responsibilities as assigned by management.
