Job summary

DSV CONTRACT LOGISTICS PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an Operations Assistant to support day-to-day warehouse and customer service activities. You will work with the Operations Manager to ensure operational excellence and compliance with standards.

You will lead a team of warehouse and admin staff, implement KPI tracking, identify improvements, and drive cost savings and productivity initiatives while upholding safety and quality programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations / customer service.
• Positive mindset, team player and high desire for learning.
• Detail oriented, analytical and innovative.
• Adaptable to fast-moving work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Operations Manager in overseeing warehousing and customer service functions.
• Ensure activities adhere to ISO, GDPMDS, and 5S standards.
• Lead a team of warehouse and administration personnel to meet customer requirements.
• Establish KPIs and monitoring to meet program targets.
• Analyze performance and indicators to identify improvements.
• Control and manage purchases, headcount and overtime.
• Process mapping for new or changed business requirements.
• Drive cost savings and productivity initiatives for customers.
• Identify and schedule training for warehouse and administration staff.
• Ensure staff adhere strictly to operational procedures.
