Job summary

KIM PARADISE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Kitchen Operations Supervisor to lead a team, ensuring efficient kitchen processes and adherence to hygiene standards.

You will support the Operations Manager, coordinate with suppliers, and oversee inventory, ordering, and daily meal preparation activities. The role requires strong leadership, weekend and public holiday availability, and the ability to work long hours during peak periods.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of related working experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Ability to communicate with suppliers & vendors.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team of operations staff to ensure kitchen efficiency.
• Report to Operations Manager and assist with overall catering operations.
• Ensure compliance with mandatory hygiene standards and requirements.
• Oversee delivery timelines and inventory integrity of kitchen operations.
• Assist in purchasing vegetables, fruits, frozen foods, poultry, groceries and packaging.
• Ensure received items are stored properly and in good condition.
• Monitor personal hygiene of staff and cleanliness of chillers/freezers.
• Provide training and coaching on food range and production standards.
• File weekly hygiene checklists and photos.
• Oversee the packaging of packet meals and daily prep lists.
• Hold end-of-day briefing for next day orders/requests.

• Enforce compliance to the mandatory hygiene standards and requirements.
• Ensure that kitchen operations meet delivery timeline and inventory integrity.
• Responsible for purchasing of vegetables/ fruits, frozen foods, frozen chickens/ meats/ fishes, groceries, packaging etc.
• Ensure that quantity and quality of items ordered are received and stored in proper condition.
• Check personal hygiene of all the staff, hygiene of chillers & freezers.
• Provide training and coaching about business food range and food production according to established standards.
• File weekly records for hygiene check lists & photos.
• Oversee packet meals packing process.
• Print out daily preparation lists for cooking.
• Hold briefing during end of the day, discussing with workers for the next day special orders/ requests.

Requirements

• 'O' Level.
• 3-5 years of related working experience, of which 1 year in supervisory capacity.
• Ability to communicate with suppliers & vendors.
• Possess good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Possess good leadership skills.
• Singaporean/SPR.
• Able to work on weekends & public holidays.
• Willing to work long hours especially during festive seasons.
