Job summary

Villa Francis Home for the Aged in Singapore is seeking an experienced Operations/Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance of building systems, resident rooms and common areas, ensuring safety and comfort for residents. You will supervise housekeeping, laundry, kitchen, transport services, manage supplies, and coordinate with vendors while upholding health and safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Business Admin, Engineering, Facilities or Healthcare Management.
• WSQ Food Safety Course Level 3 preferred.
• At least 5 years' experience in Operations or Facilities Management (preferably healthcare/eldercare).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory/facility management software.
• Strong problem-solving, organization and cross-functional teamwork.

• Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems, resident rooms and common areas.
• Manage vendor contracts for repairs, pest control and equipment servicing to ensure service quality and compliance.
• Supervise housekeeping, laundry, kitchen operations and transport services, including vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
• Manage medical and non-medical supplies through stock monitoring, audits and proper storage to prevent wastage.
• Support emergency preparedness initiatives such as fire drills and pandemic response activities.
