Job summary

Applied Materials Singapore is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team on the city-scale production line. You will set daily priorities, manage schedules, and drive Lean, Safety and Quality improvements to meet performance targets.

You'll train and coach team members, coordinate with service and customer groups to meet production schedules, and strive to reduce cycle times while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to develop and execute action plans to improve metrics.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to guide diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervises employees on production and operations functions.
• Sets up daily team priorities, schedules, and task assignments.
• Develops and executes action plans, uses shift handoffs and reviews.
• Organizes and facilitates pre-shift and safety meetings.
• Monitors performance metrics and strives to meet cycle-time targets.
• Coordinates with service and customer groups to meet schedules.
• Drives Lean, Safety and Quality improvements on the line.
• Mentors in training and career development; manages performance.
• Oversees hiring, rewards, and disciplinary processes.
