SEARCH PERSONNEL PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an Operations Manager (Construction / Interior Fit-Out) in Sungei Kadut. Role focuses on overseeing daily construction operations, planning manpower, materials, equipment and resources, and coordinating with site teams to meet schedules.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in construction operations, strong logistics and inventory management, and Mandarin proficiency for overseas partners. Position is permanent and on-site with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of construction/project operations experience.
• Experience in manpower planning, logistics and inventory management.
• Knowledge of process improvement and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction and project operations.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment and resources for projects.
• Monitor project schedules and address delays.
• Coordinate logistics, deliveries, suppliers and site teams.
• Manage inventory and material usage, track discrepancies.
• Monitor manpower deployment and workforce productivity across projects.
• Improve operations, SOPs, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate between Singapore operations and overseas production teams.

Job description

• Position : Operations Manager (Construction / Interior Fit-Out)
• Location : Sungei Kadut
• Working hours : Monday to Friday | 8.45am – 6.15pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience) : Basic up to S$6,000 + Transport Allowance S$800–S$1,000 + Variable Bonus + 14–18 Days Annual Leave + Medical Benefits
• Duration : Permanent
• Industry : Interior Furnishing / Construction

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction and project operations.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment and project resources.
• Monitor project schedules and resolve operational delays or constraints.
• Coordinate logistics, deliveries, suppliers, subcontractors and site teams.
• Manage inventory, material usage and stock discrepancies.
• Monitor manpower deployment and workforce productivity across projects.
• Improve operational processes, SOPs, productivity and cost efficiency.
• Coordinate between Singapore operations and overseas production counterparts.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Construction, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Supply Chain or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant construction/project operations experience.
• Strong experience in manpower planning, logistics and inventory/material management.
• Experience in process improvement and cost optimisation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ERP experience is advantageous.
• Mandarin proficiency is required for regular communication with overseas production counterparts who primarily communicate in Mandarin.
• Own vehicle is advantageous due to work-related travelling.
