Job summary

Sharbesuwary Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced operations supervisor to manage day-to-day activities across retail and wholesale channels.

The role involves enforcing SOPs, ensuring quality and safety standards, and coordinating with regional buyers and vendors for pricing and delivery schedules. The candidate should have 2+ years in B2B/B2C sales within Indian wholesale consumer products, with willingness to travel and work rotating shifts, including weekends/PH.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales, B2C Sales, Indian wholesale brand consumer products with a preference for the industry.
• Preferably posses own transport. (Required to travel from time to time)
• Good knowledge in Indian Wholesale household and groceries products distributions through various wholesale and retail channels

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Enforce and review standard operating procedure

Oversees and manages day to day operations ensuring smooth operation and maintaining quality standard of services including cleanliness and maintenance

Consults with regional buyers and/or vendors to obtain product or service information such as price availability, and delivery schedule

Monitor and the dry goods expiry dates and ageing inventory and prompt relevant departments (marketing and retail) to perform stock clearance accordingly

Ensure compliance with the company operations standard and meet all the safety requirements

Oversees merchandising of all dry/fresh goods in both retail and wholesale.

Ensure the operation is running well efficiently that fulfil the expectations and needs of customers and clients

Supervise the proper routing, loading and preparing of orders for shipment and delivery in accordance with customer instructions

Overseeing salespeople, cashiers, shelf stockers, and other employees.

Keeping records of expenditure, sales figures, and employee performance.

Evaluating the supply and availability of stocks, and profit-margins.

Implementing measures to avoid stock damages, theft, and wastage.

Monitoring shelve stocks and product displays, and the general appearance of the store.

Investigating market trends and offering products that would appeal to customers.

Addressing customers' requests, comments, and complaints.

Motivating employees to achieve targets.

Training new staff members and scheduling shifts.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales, B2C Sales, Indian wholesale brand consumer products with a preference for the industry

Preferably with experience in wholesale/retail packaging (household & groceries)

Good knowledge in Indian Wholesale household and groceries products distributions through various wholesale and retail channels

Preferably posses own transport. (Required to travel from time to time)

Willing to do rotating shift work and able to work longer hours with prolonged period of standing. Must work on weekends/PH. (Strictly off on week days)

Field work required. Need to do delivery if driver is off / medical leave or urgency of goods when required

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Demonstrable experience in a supervisory capacity at a retail store, or similar.

In-depth knowledge of product and consumer trends, and marketing strategies.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to do multi task
