Job summary

Randstad Singapore is seeking an Operations Manager to spearhead a greenfield launch and establish local operations from the ground up. You will oversee inside sales, customer service, HR, and the local operational strategy, driving growth, service delivery, and staff development.

You will manage end-to-end customer service and production workflows, coordinate with clients, vendors and machining staff, and promote customer quality requirements across the organisation while delivering on-time

about the job

The Operations Manager will drive business growth, service delivery, and team development by overseeing inside sales, customer service, human resources, and local operational strategy. In this hands-on leadership role, you will lead the inside sales team, provide technical guidance, handle quotations, resolve staff or customer issues, and collaborate cross-functionally to troubleshoot operational bottlenecks. You will manage end-to-end customer service and production workflows, liaising between clients, vendors, internal branches, and machining staff while entering machining orders, promoting customer quality requirements across the organization, and ensuring timely product delivery. From a personnel management standpoint, you will drive recruitment, vacation scheduling, onboarding, performance reviews, incentive programs, and continuous selling and technical training for your staff. Working directly with Senior Management, you will help establish sales and production targets, strictly uphold safety and quality control standards including hazard assessments and incident investigations, and perform additional duties to establish and expand operational success on the ground.
