Job summary

SMRT Corporation Ltd is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead Silveray's healthcare transport operations, ensuring safe and reliable service delivery aligned with contractual and regulatory requirements.

The role involves supervising planning and fleet readiness, coordinating resources, and maintaining compliance while driving cost control and continuous process improvements. A senior candidate with strong leadership and stakeholder skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Operations, Logistics, Transport, Engineering or a related field.
• At least eight years of relevant experience, including supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Experience in transport, healthcare, logistics or mobility services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, service performance and contractual compliance.
• Lead and support the Operations Planner and Fleet Management staff in manpower planning, deployment and fleet readiness.
• Coordinate driver and transport attendant resources through the Operations Planner.
• Ensure vehicles are available, maintained and compliant with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Manage incidents, complaints, service disruptions and recovery actions.
• Maintain effective communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor operating costs, productivity and fleet utilisation.
• Drive process improvements and prepare operational reports for management.

Operations Manager

Job Purpose

Reporting to General Manager of Strides Mobility, you will lead Silveray's healthcare transport operations, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient service delivery in line with contractual, regulatory and client requirements.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations, service performance and contractual compliance.
• Lead and support the Operations Planner and Fleet Management staff member in manpower planning, deployment and fleet readiness.
• Coordinate driver and transport attendant resources through the Operations Planner.
• Ensure vehicles are available, maintained and compliant with safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Performance Indicators
