Job summary

SMRT Corporation Ltd is seeking a seasoned Manager to lead Strides Engineering’s business development for EV and AFC projects. The role emphasizes delivering safe, compliant, and timely project outcomes while expanding opportunities and maintaining high standards in RAMS and QC processes.

You will manage Bid strategies, coordinate multi-party activities, and ensure project documents and reports meet clients’ expectations. A strong track record in managing large engineering projects is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in project management and a managerial role.
• Experience in LTA / SMRT projects would be an added advantage.
• Proven track record in Business Development and delivering projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform business development and establish industrial contacts and businesses
• Develop bid strategies, prepare engineering bid submission and approval
• Coordinating, monitoring, liaison with various parties on project work activities.
• Plan, coordinate, manage project work to meet project schedules and deadlines.
• Prepare, review, and submit project documents, technical reports, method statements, work permits, drawings, and progress updates to clients and management on time.
• Comply with company policies, quality standards and safety procedures.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
• Lead and responsible for project quality control and assurance.

Job Purpose

To lead and oversee Business development role for Strides Engineering for EV and AFC

To drive project delivery by ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with technical, quality, and regulatory standards.

To participate in tender submissions and business development activities to secure potential projects and expand business opportunities.

Responsibilities
