Job summary

HL Bank Singapore is seeking a capable Back-Office Specialist to coordinate and support remittance processing, testing, and governance across multiple projects. You will handle transaction processing, reconciliation, compliance, and stakeholder communication while contributing to post-implementation support and ongoing risk controls in a dynamic banking environment.

This role requires accuracy, collaboration with internal teams and external counterparties, and adherence to regulatory standards

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide back-office support for remittance processing
• Initiate and process remittance transactions (e.g., SWIFT, local payments) accurately and within established timelines
• Verify completeness and correctness of remittance requests, including account details, payment instructions, and documentation
• Ensure all transactions (outward and inward) are processed accurately and timely and in compliance with procedures and guidelines
• Perform effective and accurate dual controls on transactions
• Reconcile positions with agent banks and internal GL accounts
• Ensure compliance with SOP, sanctions screening and regulatory requirements
• Maintain records of transactions for audit purposes
• Liaise with internal teams and counterparties to resolve discrepancies
• Communicate with stakeholders to confirm instructions or clarify details
• Utilise remittance processing systems for data entry, validations, and approvals
• Perform daily reconciliations of processed transactions against system records
• Identify and elevate potential risks or unusual transactions to the compliance team
• Generate and share daily/weekly transaction reports with relevant stakeholders
• Monitor and track pending transactions to ensure timely completion
• Manage stakeholder relations in BAU matters
• Ensure deliverables meet required standards of accuracy and timeliness
• Carry out any other duties as directed by the Company Management
