Job summary

Achieve Group is recruiting an Operations Executive in Singapore to support vessel and cargo movements across voyages. You will coordinate day-to-day shipping operations, liaise with shipowners, terminals and external parties, and ensure timely documentation and updates to stakeholders.

The role requires a maritime qualification, hands-on experience in shipping operations, and the ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Energy commodities exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies, Shipping, Logistics, Business or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in shipping operations, vessel operations, tanker operations, chartering support or maritime logistics.
• Good understanding of the shipping / tanker industry and voyage processes.
• Comfortable coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail with good follow-through and organisational skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage changing operational priorities.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates with exposure to energy commodities, oil & petroleum products or tanker shipping will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor voyage progress and proactively address operational issues or changes.
• Support freight, demurrage and other voyage-related matters where required.
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure operations are carried out in line with internal procedures and relevant industry requirements.

Our client is an established international energy and commodities business with a growing presence in the shipping and maritime space. The team supports the movement of energy commodities across international markets, working closely with commercial, chartering and external shipping stakeholders.
