Job summary

Responsibilities

• Handle travel bookings and arrangements for enquiries and requests from clients via phone and email.
• Provide recommendations on hotels, restaurants, transportation and other travel arrangements.
• Provide translation and language support (Japanese to English) for travel documents and itineraries.
• Provide visa information and related procedures.
• Manage travel operations, including reservations and standby support at hotels.
• Assist in inspection tours and prepare reports.
• Keep updated on tourist attractions and communicate updates to relevant parties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Handle travel bookings and arrangements for enquiries and requests received from JTB Japan Sales Offices and other channels via phone and email.
• Provide recommendations on hotels, restaurants, transportation and other travel arrangements based on customers’ requests and interests.
• Provide translation and language support (Japanese to English) for travel-related documents, itineraries and other materials as required.
• Provide information and guidance on travel visa requirements and related procedures.
• Manage travel operations, including reservations and standby support at hotels and/or assigned venues, to ensure the smooth execution of tour arrangements.
• Participate in inspection tours and prepare inspection reports accordingly.
• Keep updated on the latest information regarding tourist attractions and promptly communicate relevant updates to all relevant parties.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Company from time to time.

Experience& Skillset required

• Prior work experience in the tourism or hospitality industry would be advantageous.
• Proficiency in English and advanced business-level Japanese is essential, with strong business communication and written skills to facilitate effective coordination with Japan-based land operators, local Japan Sales Offices, and tour arrangement teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
