Job summary

People Profilers Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced Securities Operations professional to coordinate cross-border transfers, handle physical certs and overseas movements, and ensure timely, accurate settlement.

You will improve workflows, support system upgrades, and liaise with brokers, custodians and clients across time zones while maintaining strict compliance and controls. Advanced Excel skills and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in securities transfers and custody operations.
• Knowledge of local and overseas transfer processes and securities lending/borrowing.
• Advanced Excel skills including VBA/macros, plus Word/PowerPoint proficiency.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities with multiple stakeholders.

• Investigate transfer delays, processing exceptions and escalated enquiries with brokers, custodians and internal teams.
• Manage operational correspondence with clients, trading representatives and global counterparties across time zones.
• Coordinate shareholder proxy instructions and prepare documentation for timely submission.
• Review transaction records, supporting documents and procedures to maintain compliance and controls.

• Process physical share certificate deposits, conversions to electronic holdings and cross-border securities movements.
• Oversee Singapore securities borrowing and lending operations and ensure trade details are affirmed accurately and promptly.
• Investigate transfer delays, processing exceptions and escalated enquiries, working with brokers, custodians and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Manage operational correspondence with clients, trading representatives and global counterparties across different time zones.
• Coordinate shareholder proxy instructions and prepare the documentation required for timely submission.
• Review transaction records, supporting documents and operating procedures to maintain compliance and strengthen operational controls.
• Improve workflows and support system upgrades, user acceptance testing and other operational projects.

Requirements

• Relevant hands‑on experience in securities transfers and custody or nominee operations, preferably within a securities or stockbroking firm.
• Working knowledge of local and overseas transfer processes, securities borrowing and lending, and physical share certificate handling.
• Advanced Excel skills, including VBA and macros, alongside proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to handle escalations, coordinate multiple stakeholders and meet competing deadlines.
