Singapore Exchange Limited is seeking an Analytical and proactive professional for Executive, Exchange Operations. You will support the team manager, manage corporate actions distributions across digital platforms, and drive the e-Corporate Actions initiative to support multi-asset class exchange.

The role requires a finance or business background, strong equities/FICC knowledge, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Finance or Business Administration.
• Experience in corporate actions or custodial services is a plus.
• Strong understanding of equities and FICC products and processes.

Aufgaben

• Support team manager to build an effective and cohesive team contributing to SGX’s success.
• Manage corporate actions distributions and the e-Corporate Actions initiative.
• Coordinate communications with Depository Agents, issuers/paying agents, regulators (MAS, IRAS).
• Review and improve processes to maintain high processing standards and risk controls.
• Propose automation ideas and AI tool adoption to improve workflows.
• Lead projects to develop securities products and platforms.
• Deepen relationships with Members and external stakeholders.

Job Summary

An Analytical thinker in operations who possesses passion for securities corporate action and custodial services. A team player with creativity, who can learn, adapt and execute the process flawlessly and partner well with other stakeholders. Supports team manager to meet the operational objectives of the function.

This is a one year contract.

Job Responsibilities

Support team manager to build an effective and cohesive team contributing to SGX’s success.

Manage both mandatory and voluntary corporate actions distributions via our digital platforms. Further the organizational effort on ‘stop paper’ initiative, building scalable solution of e-Corporate Actions to support multi-asset class exchange.

Manage communication to Depository Agents via circular, payment advices to issuers/paying agents and communication with regulators and authorities like MAS, IRAS.

Proactively review and improve processes to ensure high standards of processing and risk management in daily operations and project implementation.

Analyze workflow process to optimize efficiency while upholding core risk & control measures, proposing automation ideas via adoption of AI tools.

Take the lead and drive the completion of projects and initiatives to develop the securities products and platforms.

Deepen the relationship with Members, and other external stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Degree holder with Finance or Business Administration background. Working experience in corporate action or custodial services is an added advantage.

Strong understanding of Equities & FICC products & processes (both Exchange and OTC)

Proven track record of accurate execution and an eye for details.

Self-motivated and goal-oriented.

Ability to deal with ambiguity.

Ability to communicate complex concepts.

Analytical mindset with strong problem solving abilities.

Strong inter-personal and effective relationship management skills.
