Job summary

Cogent Holdings Pte Ltd is seeking an Operations Executive to join Cogent Tank Depot Pte Ltd. You will support daily tank-depot operations, supervise the office team and coordinate with shipping agents and clients to ensure smooth workflow.

You will report to the manager, identify safety hazards, monitor performance, and drive productivity initiatives while maintaining customers' requirements and confidence in service delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• 2 years of experience in operations and supervisory role, preferably in a logistics company.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager in daily operations and ensure smooth flow of the tank depot activities
• Ensure that work assigned to the operations staff are fulfilled to the required standards
• Attend to daily mail correspondences from customers
• Discuss and report to manager any enhancement on daily operations and implement productivity initiatives
• Report to the manager any discrepancies, non-compliance, accidents or customers’ feedback
• Ensure equipment availability and operational procedures are followed and functioning effectively
• Maintain customer’s requirements and confidence
• Monitor team performance and resolve issues related to response time, movement requirement and daily inventory supply
• Attend operations meeting with shipping agents or clients to discuss operation work plan and implementation
• Keep track of fixed assets and ensure tank depot facilities are in good order
• Oversee task accuracy and manage work priorities of the office team
• Identify safety hazards in operations areas and proactively eliminate any risks
