Chess at Three Singapore is seeking an organized and energetic Operations professional to oversee facilities, daily centre operations, and logistics for camps and events. The role involves coordinating tutors, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring smooth sign-ups and billing processes across multiple centres.

The ideal candidate will travel between centres, work on weekends as scheduled, and adapt quickly to on-ground operational changes while maintaining high standards of service and safety.

Formación

• Diploma in any discipline is required.

Responsabilidades

• Facilities management: coordinate maintenance, repairs and servicing for all centres.
• Centre operations and logistics: oversee daily operations and inventory/logistics across centres.
• Holiday camp logistics & operations: lead venue setup and materials for camps, brief camp runners.
• Tutor operations: coordinate scheduling, staffing, and training sessions with tutors.
• Customer service & relationship management: handle inquiries via WhatsApp/phone/walk-ins and assist with onboarding, billing and scheduling.

Chess at Three is New York City’s premier chess club for kids, and we proudly launched in Singapore in August 2023. Our mission is simple yet powerful — to teach children aged 3 to 12 the timeless game of chess through fun stories, interactive games, and imaginative play. By turning complex chess concepts into engaging adventures, we help children learn, grow, and fall in love with chess in no time!

We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and organized individual to join our growing team at Chess at Three Singapore. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with families and children, thrives in a dynamic environment, and takes pride in creating seamless experiences for customers and tutors alike.

Key Responsibilities

Facilities Management

• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and servicing for all centres.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors to address issues such as water leakage, air-conditioning servicing, electrical works, furniture repairs, and general upkeep.
• Ensure all centres operate safely, are well-maintained, and meet internal standards at all times.

Centre Operations and Logistics

• Oversee the daily operations of the centres, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and tidy environment.
• Manage and procure inventory, supplies, and logistics to keep all centres running smoothly.
• Plan and coordinate logistical needs for classes, workshops, and special events, including setup, teardown, and materials preparation.

Holiday Camp Logistics & Operations

• Lead logistics and operations for holiday camps, including venue setup, equipment, and materials.
• Train and brief camp runners to ensure consistent standards and smooth camp delivery.
• Support adjustments and on-the-ground troubleshooting, working closely with the Operations Manager and/or Sales team.

Tutor Operations

• Coordinate with tutors on scheduling, staffing, and training sessions to ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure all tutor-related administrative processes, records, and communications are timely and accurate.

Customer Service & Relationship Management

• Serve as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via WhatsApp, phone calls, and walk-ins.
• Support parents with class sign-ups, onboarding, billing, rescheduling, and other administrative needs.
• Build lasting relationships with customers to support satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

• Diploma in any discipline (Hospitality, Business, Operations, or related fields preferred).
• Willingness to travel between centres as required.
• Able to work on weekends, with regular duty on either Saturday or Sunday based on centre scheduling needs.
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting quickly to operational changes on the ground.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination, and communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities across locations.
