Job summary

GMP Technologies is seeking an experienced Operations Analyst to support the trade lifecycle within a private banking environment in Singapore. The role involves accurate trade entry, reconciliation with counterparties, and ensuring timely settlement and pricing of portfolios.

The candidate should have 4+ years in wealth management, strong Excel skills, and a fast learning curve for internal systems. Collaboration with traders and external parties is essential to maintain high-quality operations.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in Private Bank or equivalent wealth management setup, with booking/execution of transactions.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to learn internal systems quickly.
• Detail oriented and fast learner.
• Able to work well in a team and independently as needed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter trades into the system and reconcile them with counterparties to avoid discrepancies.
• Check trade details (price, quantity) and confirm with external parties; resolve issues quickly.
• Ensure trade bookings are accurate by reviewing others’ work and maintaining high standards of quality.
• Ensure portfolios are priced correctly and generate regular performance reports.
• Ensure trades settle on time and accurately, coordinating with external parties to resolve issues.
• Work closely with traders and external parties to ensure smooth trade processing.
• Provide operational support to the investment team and help resolve any trade-related issues.

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of relevant experience (from a Private Bank or a similar setup as EAM industry), in particular, working knowledge of different wealth management products and services with experience in booking/execution of transactions
• Strong in Excel, and able to pick up internal system in a fast pace
• Detail oriented & fast-learner
• Strong team player with ability to work independently
