Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with local and international quality standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality-related activities, including audits, qualification programmes, and claims handling.
- Represent operations in dealings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure project milestones are met within agreed timelines.
- Develop, review, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process flowcharts.
- Conduct internal and external training for operational teams.
- Coordinate with IT teams on system enhancements, integration, and project testing.
- Act as a control tower to facilitate effective communication between internal teams and external customers.
- Support daily operational matters and resolve issues as they arise.
- Maintain SOPs and operational documentation at a regional level.
- Prepare and support daily, weekly, monthly, and KPI performance reports for customers.
- Handle customer requests promptly and professionally.
- Align operational processes across internal teams and external partners.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to drive operational improvements.
- Provide training to operational teams when new customer requirements are introduced.
- Support ad-hoc quotations and business requests when required.
- Travel overseas as required for operational or project needs.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation, International Business, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry; air and ocean freight experience is an advantage.
