Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Lean & Continuous Improvement professional to deploy and execute lean management initiatives at the Singapore site. You will lead Kaizen events, data-driven improvements, and cross-functional projects to meet plant objectives.

The role requires hands-on experience with Lean/Six Sigma, proficiency in Power BI and Excel, and the ability to collaborate with Automation, Digital & Technology teams to drive digitalization and sustainable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Lean Management or Six Sigma in manufacturing or regulated environment.
• Foundational knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement lean deployment & structured continuous improvements (Kaizen, DMAIC, VSM, 5S, SMED) and monitor progress.
• Provide technical advisory and analytical support through workshops using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Develop and maintain dashboards (Power BI / Excel) to track KPIs and performance.
• Collaborate with Automation, Digital & Technology stakeholders to implement digitalization.
• Promote Lean culture and continuous improvement mindset.
• Support cross-functional teams in cost-saving activities, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Meet Auditor's requirements by ensuring Lean standards and proper lean process documentation.
• Verify and validate new lean process concepts and measure post-implementation results.
• Other tasks assigned by the manager.

Job Summary:

In this role, the position holder will take responsibility to deploy and execute lean management and continuous improvement initiatives at the Singapore site and in achieving the plant's objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement lean deployment & structured continuous Improvements e.g.: Kaizen, DMAIC, VSM, 5S, SMED), monitor to track progress and ensure sustainability of results.


• Provide technical advice and analytical support for site-level projects and solutions through facilitation of workshops using Lean and Six sigma methodologies.


• Develop and maintain dashboards (Power BI / Excel) to track KPIs and operational performance, to analyze and identify improvement opportunities.


• Collaborate with Automation, Digital & Technology stakeholders to implement digitalization, including data visibility enhancement and reporting efficiency.


• Promote Lean culture and continuous improvement mindset within operational teams.


• Support and lead cross-functional teams in cost saving activities, root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.


• Meet Auditor's requirements by ensuring Lean standards execution and ensure lean process flow documentations are properly maintained.


• Verify and validate new lean process concepts and measure post-implementation results (Eg: Cell manufacturing).


• Other tasks assigned by the manager.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline.


• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Lean Management or Six Sigma in a manufacturing or highly regulated environment.


• Foundational knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Certification in Lean or Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred).


• Proficiency in - Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, data modeling), Power BI or equivalent visualization tools, SAP (basic functional knowledge)


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


• Good understanding of process mapping and statistical analysis tools.


• Digital mindset with interest in automation and data-driven decision making.


• Strong in communication and presentation skills.


• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functions.

Travel Requirements:
