Job summary

Mclean Technologies Pte Ltd is seeking a Process Engineer to support and improve manufacturing processes, troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and ensure quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met. You will work with Production, Quality, and EHS teams to maintain compliant operations.

Responsibilities include designing workflows, conducting audits, training operators, and driving continuous improvement through data analysis.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical, or related).
• At least two years in manufacturing, semiconductor, cleanroom, or similar environments.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin for customer communication.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Familiarity with process documentation and ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to train operators.
• Proficiency in MS Office; CAD or data analysis tools advantageous.

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process deviations; implement corrective actions.

Role Summary

The Process Engineer will support and improve engineering processes, troubleshoot equipment and process issues, and ensure that technical operations meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This role works closely with the Production, Quality, and EHS teams to maintain smooth, reliable, and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, review, and improve process workflows and technical documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and process specifications.

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and process deviations by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.

• Support the installation, qualification, and validation of new equipment.

• Conduct process audits and assist with technical evaluations of suppliers and vendors.

• Collaborate with Quality and EHS teams to ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations, and company requirements.

• Provide technical training and guidance to production technicians and operators.

• Analyze process data to identify trends, resolve recurring issues, and drive continuous improvement.

• Assist with preventive maintenance planning and equipment lifecycle management.

• Prepare technical reports and present findings and recommendations to management.

Requirements

• Only Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents are eligible to apply. Candidates without permanent work rights in Singapore will not be considered.

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.

• At least two years of experience in a manufacturing, semiconductor, cleanroom, or similar technical environment is preferred.

• Fluency in English and Mandarin is required to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking customers.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Familiarity with process documentation and quality management systems, such as ISO 9001.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and guide technicians and operators.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word. Familiarity with CAD or data analysis tools will be an advantage.
